The Little Red Hen

The Little Red Hen is a lovely story about sharing and helping your friends. Have a little chat about the story after you watch the video.

Some questions to ask:

What animals lived on the farm? What did they do all day?
What job does the hen do first? Why do you think that her friends didn't help her? What did the Hen make? Why did she share her bread in the end?

In the Farmyard story,  'The Little Red Hen', the hen uses flour to make bread. Why not try to make bread at home. Grace tried to make some here. Watch along and give it a go! I'm sure you will do a much better job and make less of a sticky mess than Grace in the video!
