About Early Start

We have two Early Start groups in our school.

The morning group come to school from 9.00 a.m. until 11.30 a.m.
The afternoon group come to school from 12.00 p.m. until 2.30 p.m.

Story Time

Story Time is Lots of Fun! 

Reading books aloud to children stimulates their imagination and expands their understanding of the world. It helps them develop language and listening skills and prepares them to understand the written word


Oxford Owl  have a free library of ebooks that are suitable for all ages - including children aged 3-4. Simply follow the link above to create an account, find a cosy, quiet spot and choose a book you like the look of to get started!

If this doesn't suit, choose a book you have at home and read it together.

Talk about the book with your child and discuss both your favourite parts after reading. Maybe you could draw a picture of it.
